- Jobs in general
Hireminds: A great list of jobs in journalism and related fields, with an emphasis on on-line publishing
Idealist: A information on jobs at non-profits.
- Practical advice on non-academic careers by Ph.Ds
SELLOUT: This is the deceptively depressing title of an excellent site. "The title is ironic. By opening yourself to the world's many career paths, you rescue self respect and dignity you might otherwise sell as a university coolie." It is a great source for information on making the transition to private-sector work and includes a valuable page of links to other sites.
